Who We Are

Singapore Pools was established by the Singapore government on 23 May 1968 to provide safe and trusted betting to counter illegal gambling. As a not-for-profit organisation, it makes contributions to the Tote Board to fund a wide range of causes in social service, community development, sports, arts, education and health sectors. 

 

Since 2004, over $5 billion have been channelled to the Tote Board. In addition, Singapore Pools also contributes about $2 billion annually to the Government in the form of taxes and duties. Its responsible gaming practices have been awarded the highest level of certification (Level 4) by the World Lottery Association’s Responsible Gaming Framework since 2012. 

 

Since inception, Singapore Pools’ staff have a long-standing commitment to doing good and giving back to those in need. Staff volunteers support activities held all year round, from helping disadvantaged children, youth-at-risk, underprivileged families, and elderly, to conserving the environment. 

Job Purpose

Based in Singapore and reporting to the Senior Manager, the incumbent will have the day-to-day responsibility of ensuring integrity for all draws and resulting/settlement are carried out in a fair, accurate and timely manner in compliance with the established operating procedures.

What You'll Do

  • Perform lottery pre-draw preparation, conduct draw, and post-production.
  • Operate customized lottery stream system and editing software.
  • Check and disseminate results into relevant systems.
  • Monitor matches while they are being played and verify the winning selections calculations and logic.
  • Conduct monthly maintenance for draw equipment, draw balls, audio equipment, and ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Compile data to develop maintenance standards and analysis study, and perform analysis of lottery and sports data.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors on lottery field works and various reports for draw.
  • Assist in filing of documents, updating of result data, and general administrative matters.
  • Be the Team Leader to a section, co-ordinate and prepare monthly shifts roster and act as the Team Lead during the shift hours you are rostered to.
  • Conduct training for new system and to new staff.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline, preferably in operations, video production, or Artificial Intelligence related.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of working experience, with minimum 3-5 years in supervisory capacity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, vMix, and DaVinci Resolve.
  • Knowledge of basic data analytics.
  • Interested in sports (e.g. football and motor racing) and have knowledge of sports and lottery products.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, mature and able to work independently.
  • Able to work on weekends and Public Holiday and perform shift hours, including night shift.
