Who We Are
Singapore Pools was established by the Singapore government on 23 May 1968 to provide safe and trusted betting to counter illegal gambling. As a not-for-profit organisation, it makes contributions to the Tote Board to fund a wide range of causes in social service, community development, sports, arts, education and health sectors.
Since 2004, over $5 billion have been channelled to the Tote Board. In addition, Singapore Pools also contributes about $2 billion annually to the Government in the form of taxes and duties. Its responsible gaming practices have been awarded the highest level of certification (Level 4) by the World Lottery Association’s Responsible Gaming Framework since 2012.
Since inception, Singapore Pools’ staff have a long-standing commitment to doing good and giving back to those in need. Staff volunteers support activities held all year round, from helping disadvantaged children, youth-at-risk, underprivileged families, and elderly, to conserving the environment.
Job Purpose
This role is engaged in leading a section, perform lottery draw, lottery draw video production and sports resulting/ settlement duties and dissemination of results successfully in compliance with established procedures and standards to ensure integrity and all draws and resulting/settlement are carried out in a fair, accurate and timely manner.
What You'll Do
- Perform pre-draw preparation, conduct draw and post production.
- Operate customized lottery stream system and editing software.
- Monitor sports matches while they are being played, check and enter the results into relevant system and disseminate results to various platforms.
- Analyse lottery and sports data.
- Be the Team Lead role for a section.
- Coordinate and prepare monthly draw duty roster.
- Assist in filing of documents, updating of resulting data and general administration.
- Be the department in-house trainer for new staff and new system.
- Compile data to develop maintenance standards.
- Conduct monthly maintenance for draw equipment, draw balls and production equipment and ensure all equipment are in good working condition.
Who You Are
- A Bachelor's degree in any discipline, preferably in Operations, Video Production or Artificial Intelligence related, with 7-10 years of working experience, of which 3-5 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Interested in sports (e.g. football & motor racing) and have knowledge of sports and lottery products.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, vMix, DaVinci Resolve, have basic data analytics knowledge and experience in project management.
- Able to work on weekends, public holidays and perform shift hours, including night shift.
